Muxima means heart is the Angolan dialect Kimbundu and it is the heart that led Paula and Jelle to Muxima. Here they share their great love for wild nature and good food with their guests. They want to keep everything as pure as possible and keep a strong connection with their surroundings.
Early morning yoga classes by the natural swimming pool, a vegetarian breakfast feast with mostly organic, local, homegrown and homemade products and endless adventures on the property climbing trees, swinging ropes or exploring the 28 ha forest. The houses are beautifully decorated with items collected from many travels and each room has its own, unique style. In the shared living room one can enjoy a book from the library by the fireplace with one of the Portuguese, organic natural wines from a carefully selected winelist.

Our goal is not only to offer you a pleasant stay; we also dare to create unique experiences and memories.
Surrounded by the green forest, unexpectedly, we may find a reading room, a play room for the little ones or a manufactured goods store that also shows memories-objects of older times.
The books on the shelves can attract attention with a variety of genres that goes from theater plays to comics.
Tin toys and ornamental objects made from recovered materiels share the room with the portuguese sardines in several different gourmet styles and Alentejo wine especially cherished by Muxima.
Olives are revealed and premium portuguese olive oil, soaps with scents of Algarve countryside and compelling salted lupies to taste with a cold beer, always available at Muxima honesty bar.
1. In the heart of the Costa Vicentina, Aljezur offers the best beaches in Europe. Access isnt always easy, but the efforts rewarded by the well preserved natural beauty. Surf and bodyboard lessons are available.
2. Natural and ecologically balanced, the cleanliness of the water is guaranteed through plants, instead of the ususal chemicals.
3. From the rooms front porches to the day-beds in the shade of centenary old trees relax and enjoy!
4. Pipocãos game - A mast, where a pear shaped ball is suspended, allows two teams with two elements each to amusingly compete for victory.
5. Go for a ride through the property or through the magnificent tracks that exist throughout the region.

1. The coastal plateau comprehends a unique heritage in the world, which still remains untouched by man. The landscape shaped by countless geological eras, offers magnificient views of wild nature.
2. At the extremity of the beautiful shell-shaped cliff that surrounds the Arrifanas beach, the ruins of the Fortress offer overwhelming panoramic views.
3. The last fortress to be conquered by the Christians offers a magnificent view over the village.
4. On the way to the beaches of Carriagem and Vale dos Homens, dont miss the Arregatas Windmill.
5. Climb up to the fantastic Fóias belvedere (best views of the southwest coast) or relax at Caldas and enjoy the medicinal waters.
